About Seethammadhara Campus
Three decades of learning, laughter and achievement in the heart of Visakhapatnam.
Our Story
The Presidential School opened its doors at Seethammadhara in 1994 with a simple belief: children should look forward to coming to school. Our founder, Mr. D. S. Anand, set out to build a school community that challenges every child, celebrates creative thinkers and treats each learner as an individual.
That belief has shaped three decades of students. Seethammadhara is where our traditions began – GENESIS, our Annual Day; the student-run magazine, The Presidential Monthly; and a culture of mentoring where teachers know every child by name. Today it is the group's largest campus and the home of our Space Lab.

The Presidential School, Seethammadhara
Vision & Ethos
To nurture curious, confident and caring young people who learn deeply, think for themselves and carry strong values into the world.
Practical learning
Every chapter ends with an activity and every textbook exercise is solved in class, so concepts are understood, not memorised.
A stress-free day
A carefully planned syllabus, no needless homework and a supervised study hour – school feels like a place of confidence, not pressure.
Balance
Academics, the arts and sport share the same timetable – from AI, French and Abacus to music, skating, meditation and dance.
Life Inside Seethammadhara Campus
From the Space Lab to the skating rink, every space on campus is built for learning by doing.

Skating (Grades I–V)
Skating is part of the weekly timetable for Grades I–V. Children learn balance, coordination and confidence – and it quickly becomes everyone's favourite period.

Basketball & Sports Ground
Every child has an hour of PT each week. Our ground hosts basketball, volleyball, throwball and badminton, the Internal Sports Meet and inter-house competitions.

Space Lab
A dedicated lab for astronomy and space science, where students explore planets, stars and space missions through models and activities.

Music, Dance & Recording Studio
Music for every grade, dance and meditation for Grades VI–X, and a recording studio where singers and young actors rehearse and record.

Coding & Robotics
Students learn to code with Scratch and Python and build with robotics kits, alongside AI as a timetabled subject.

Smart Classrooms & Interactive Panels
Smart classrooms powered with LEAD for Grades I–VIII, interactive touch panels for Grades IX–X, and Abacus & Vedic Maths for mental math fluency.

Library & Reading Culture
A library period every week builds the reading habit from Grade I, with books for every age and competitive-exam references for senior students.

French & Foreign Languages
French offered to develop international language proficiency, cognitive flexibility, and cultural appreciation.
A school that knows every child by name
Dear Parents,
When we opened in 1994, it was one block of classrooms and a small group of children. Even then we had decided one thing: we would not measure a child by marks alone.
Thirty years on, that is still how this school is run.
Learning here is practical. Every chapter ends with an activity, every textbook exercise is worked through in class, and every concept is tied to something the child already knows. When understanding is built in the classroom, it does not have to be forced at home in the evening.
The day is planned to be calm. We pace the syllabus, we do not set homework for its own sake, and there is a supervised study hour before the children leave. The day opens with a few quiet minutes of meditation, because a child who is not anxious asks questions, and a child who asks questions learns.
Music, dance, skating, art, French, Abacus, the Space Lab, inter-house competitions — none of these sits outside the timetable. They are in it, beside Mathematics and Science, because character and discipline are built there just as surely.
What we promise every family is balance. Serious academics, and a full life around them. High expectations, held with genuine care.
Come and see for yourself. Walk through the classrooms on an ordinary morning, and talk to our children.
