Bakrid

Bakrid (Eid al-Adha)

The Presidential School, Visakhapatnam, will remain closed on 6th July 2025 in observance of Bakrid (Eid al-Adha), a significant festival in the Islamic calendar. This day honors the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. It is a day of prayer, charity, and feasts. Students are encouraged to reflect on the values of sacrifice, generosity, and gratitude. Regular classes will resume the following day. Wishing everyone a blessed and joyous Bakrid!

The Presidential School

Our vision for The Presidential School is one that did not happen overnight but was the result of several journeys leading us down this path. Founder, Mr. D S Anand’s vision, as you can see, was to create a school community, challenge a child and encourage creative thinkers based on a child’s unique profile.
